Delivering 1,000+ marketplace orders a day with no one in the loop

Lightning bolt over an order row, representing automatic delivery of marketplace orders with a delivery log

Key takeaways

  • Keysender delivers each paid order on its own and marks it shipped on the channel it came from.
  • Pro delivers instantly, around the clock; the free Starter plan dispatches within 5.5 hours.
  • Every dispatch has a timestamped log, and a resend or reissue takes one click.
  • Delivery emails can come from your own domain, and access pages can live on your own URL.
  • You pay per dispatch with credits, from 6 cents on Pro, with no subscription.

You deliver every marketplace order at 3 a.m. without staff by taking people out of the delivery step. Connect each marketplace to Keysender and link its offers to your inventories. When a buyer pays, Keysender takes the next code, delivers it and marks the order shipped on the channel it came from. On Pro this happens instantly, at any hour.

This guide is for sellers at the point where orders arrive faster than anyone can handle them, on several marketplaces, through the night.

What happens to an order placed at 3 a.m.?

Here is the path, with no one awake:

  1. A buyer pays on Kinguin, G2A, Eneba, eBay or your store.
  2. Keysender sees the paid order.
  3. It takes the next available code from the inventory that offer links to.
  4. It delivers the code to the buyer.
  5. It marks the order shipped on that marketplace.
  6. It updates stock on your other channels and logs the dispatch with a timestamp.

The same path runs for the first order of the night and the last. No order waits for a person to pick it up, check it and copy a code into a message. That is the step that breaks first when volume grows, and it is the step automation removes.

You wake up to delivered orders and a log, not a queue. Marketplaces that rank sellers on handling time see the same fast handling at night as at noon.

What does "no one in the loop" really require?

Automatic delivery only runs on its own if three things are in place before the night starts:

  • Every offer is linked to the right inventory. An unlinked offer has nothing to deliver.
  • Every inventory has stock. An empty inventory cannot deliver, whatever the automation does.
  • You have credits. Each delivery uses one. Keep a buffer so a busy night does not run you dry.

How many credits should you keep?

Look at your busiest day in the last month and keep at least that many credits on hand, plus a margin for a sale or a launch. Credits do not expire, so a larger buffer costs you nothing over time. Top up in the panel when you run your morning check, not when the balance is already low.

Keeping stock up through a busy night

Before you log off, look at your fastest sellers. If an inventory will not last until morning at today's pace, restock it now. A bulk import takes a CSV or XLSX file, so a new batch goes in at once, not code by code. An offer that runs dry at 1 a.m. loses every sale until you wake up, even though delivery itself is working.

Get those right and the night runs itself. Most delivery problems at volume trace back to one of the three, not to the delivery step. Our pillar on one stock pool across your marketplaces covers the stock side.

How fast is delivery on Starter and on Pro?

Starter (free)Pro
Dispatch timeWithin 5.5 hoursInstant
Price per dispatch0 centsAs low as 6 cents
Marked as shippedYesYes
Dispatch logsYesYes
Fraud screeningNoOpt-in, 1 credit per check

Starter is fine for testing a new channel. For real marketplace volume, use Pro. You can switch plans when you are ready, and there is no contract to change. A buyer on a key marketplace expects the code in seconds, and a five-hour wait shows up in your rating.

How does the buyer receive the code?

Each channel delivers in its own way, and Keysender follows it. On eBay, the buyer gets the product through a secure redemption page and the order is marked shipped. On key marketplaces such as Kinguin, G2A and Eneba, Keysender hands the code to the marketplace, which shows it to the buyer.

On your own store and on eBay, you can keep the whole delivery on your brand. Custom SMTP sends delivery emails from your own domain, and the access page can live on your own URL. Both are included on every plan. Keys, codes, licences, PDFs and images all deliver on the same path. See the eBay page for how eBay orders flow.

Some products are more than one code. A bundle is one product backed by up to five inventories, and the buyer gets a code from each in a single message. Bundles work on Shopify, eBay, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Ecwid, Mercado Libre and the API. Each component keeps its own stock, so the bundle shows as short as soon as one part runs low.

What a good delivery message says

The fastest delivery still fails if the buyer does not know what to do next. Keep the message short and answer three questions: what this is, where to redeem it, and who to contact if it does not work. Fewer confused buyers means fewer messages in your inbox in the morning and fewer disputes.

What do you do when a code is faulty or a buyer says it never arrived?

No delivery system stops every problem. What matters is how fast you can answer one.

  • Buyer says it never arrived: open the dispatch log for that order. It shows what was sent, when and to whom.
  • Code does not work: reissue in one click. The buyer gets a fresh code from the same inventory.
  • Buyer lost the email: resend in one click.

Answer the marketplace's dispute with the log entry. A timestamped record of the dispatch is the evidence most dispute processes ask for. Our chargeback and fraud playbook covers the rest of the dispute workflow.

The morning check

Automatic delivery replaces the night shift, not your attention. Spend a few minutes each morning on this:

  1. Compare last night's paid orders on each marketplace with the dispatch log.
  2. Read new buyer messages and disputes, and answer them with the log entry.
  3. Check the inventories that sold most overnight and restock any that are low.
  4. Check your credit balance against today's expected orders.

If the log shows a pattern, such as one offer failing every night, fix the cause: usually a missing link to an inventory or an empty one.

Where does fraud screening fit?

Instant delivery is good for honest buyers and for fraudsters. On Pro you can turn on fraud screening, which checks an order before the code goes out. It is opt-in, and each check uses 1 credit. On eBay and Shopify you can set thresholds per listing, so you screen your high-value products and let low-risk ones through.

Blacklists and whitelists, with wildcard and regex matching, stop buyers you already know about on every channel. Use screening where a chargeback would hurt most, not on every order.

A simple way to decide: list your products by price and by how often they draw disputes. Screen the expensive ones and the ones fraudsters like, such as gift cards and high-demand new releases. Let cheap, low-risk products deliver without a check. Review the split each month, and add a buyer to the blacklist as soon as a chargeback confirms fraud.

What does delivery at volume cost?

Delivery is paid per dispatch with credits. One credit covers one delivery. Pro starts as low as 6 cents per dispatch. Credits do not expire, and there is no subscription or minimum. Every account starts with 20 free credits, so you can test a channel on real orders before you top up.

At high volume, your rate depends on how much you send. Check pricing for the plans, or step through the demo, then go through your order volume and channels with the team. Our pillar on selling on five marketplaces at scale shows how delivery fits with stock and pricing.

Frequently asked questions

Can marketplace orders be delivered automatically at night?

Yes. When a buyer pays, Keysender takes the next code from the linked inventory, delivers it and marks the order shipped on that marketplace. On Pro this is instant, around the clock.

How fast is delivery on the free plan?

The free Starter plan dispatches within 5.5 hours. Pro delivers instantly, which suits key marketplaces where buyers expect the code in seconds and ratings reward fast handling.

What happens if a code does not work?

Reissue it in one click, and the buyer gets a fresh code from the same inventory. The dispatch log shows what was sent, when and to whom, which helps you answer the marketplace if there is a dispute.

Can delivery emails come from my own domain?

Yes. Custom SMTP sends delivery emails from your own domain, and the access page can live on your own URL. Both are included on every plan.

What do I need in place before delivery runs on its own?

Every offer linked to the right inventory, stock in every inventory and enough credits for the night. Most delivery problems at volume come from one of those three.
