Automating Shopee digital delivery: where it stands
Not yet. Shopee's seller API does not currently give sellers the buyer's email or accept a code to pass on, so automatic key delivery is not available there. Join the waitlist and we will email you if that changes.
Where Shopee stands
Automatic delivery needs one of two things from a marketplace: a way to email the buyer, or a way to hand the marketplace the code so it shows it to the buyer. Shopee has masked buyer details in its seller API since August 2021, and it accepts no code.
Shopee also restricts digital goods such as game codes and digital credits to approved shops, and it sells game credit itself through its own Prepaid, Bills and Tickets section.
We track Shopee because sellers ask for it. If Shopee opens a delivery channel for digital goods, the waitlist is who we tell first.
